BMW GS 1100 # 014 Bombardone – The name of the new creature of Officine Sbrannetti, “the big bomb”, embodies the character of the bike. The “Bombardone” has been born as a strong bike to be driven sideways and to become the best friend of the tire repairer.
This motard style on steroids, based on a BMW GS1100 that was practically revisited completely and rebuilt, often with tailored made parts made by Officine Sbrannetti.
The frame was cut in the back and painted in dark brown; the engine was instead treated with a special thermal paint that holds heat well.
The position of the radiator behind the front wheel allows cleaner lines before the handlebar.
Continuing to analyze the front, the guys of Officine Sbrannetti have used a new headlight with LED lights housed in a mask handmade and that is joined to a fender and a table both of aluminum; the whole is supported by a new frame which also serves to housing the instrumentation: minimal but functional.
The handlebars of the WRP with variable section, housed on full risers, mount hand guards derived from the motard world. The beautiful saddle was made from an internal project by their collaborator Andrea Lava (LA1972), true artist in the industry, leather engraved with the name and number of the bike (#014 Bombardone).
For the exhaust, the choice fells on Mass and it was placed at the top to leave exposed the rear wheel. To complete the transformationthere is a new aluminum fender that houses the new LED stop and arrows.
From the mechanical point of view they changed the EPROM, which has allowed to increase the power of the motorcycle, and in the suspension only the oil was changed: the rest was just fine as it was.
Chromatically, next to brown of the frame and the black of the engine, stands a beautiful English green (taken directly from the Green Lotus) and the leather of the saddle that, as always in their designs, manages to give a stylish and sophisticated vibe.
