BMW 75/6 1976 by Tim Harney – Tim Harney is not a mechanic, is not an expert. He is a product designer who has worked in many differente firm in architecture, furniture, lighting industry, but in him there was always a passion for two wheels.
What you see here is a custo motorcycle made starting from a 1976 BMW 75/6, a sprightly almost forty in great shape. Harney has replaced original carburetors in favor of Mikuni VM32s. He installed a smaller battery and converted the ignition to electronic.
The exhaust is a 2 in 1 crafted in aluminum with Arrow muffler. The front forks come from a Suzuki DR650. The brakes have been upgraded with a performance Brembo. The small taillight comes from a Harley Sportster. The seat is in brown cow-hide leather.
The tank has been original, but overhauled and painted in a beautiful blue gray.
All modifications were done in Harney’s New York workshop.
